I’d like to attend MIIT 2026, Canada’s imaging informatics conference, on April 24 in Hamilton.

MIIT is Canada’s primary imaging informatics event, attended by hospital imaging leaders, PACS managers, diagnostic imaging directors, radiologists, healthcare IT professionals, vendors and researchers. It’s one of the most targeted and concentrated gatherings of imaging informatics professionals in the country.

The one-day program covers topics directly relevant to our department: AI in radiology workflows, PACS and enterprise imaging modernization, cybersecurity in healthcare environments, and pan-Canadian imaging initiatives.

Registration is $80–$150, including breakfast and lunch.

Specifically, attending will help us:

  • Understand where Canadian hospitals are heading on AI adoption, cloud PACS, and enterprise imaging 
  • Hear first-hand what operational challenges are front of mind for imaging teams right now — from cybersecurity threats to interoperability gaps and DIR participation
  • Build and strengthen relationships with hospital decision-makers  
  • Stay current on standards and policy developments (DICOM, IHE, FHIR, pan-Canadian DIR) that shape procurement and integration decisions across the sector

How do I register for MIIT 2026?

You can register on our website at miit.ca by clicking on the Registration link in the main toolbar.

We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Registration is now open. We recommend registering early, as space is limited and it helps us ensure any accessibility needs are fully supported.

Registration is only available in advance of the conference.

Tickets are non-refundable. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out as special requests can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
