Interoperability Isn’t Magic: It’s Standards at Work

Jason Nagels, CIIP, PMP, is an imaging informatics consultant, educator and founder of Nagels Consulting, based in Toronto. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, he has advised healthcare providers, health authorities and vendors on enterprise imaging strategy, interoperability standards and digital transformation.

Jason serves as Chair of Canada Health Infoway’s Enterprise Imaging Community Group and is a co-host of SIIMCast, the official podcast of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine. He is also a regular speaker at SIIM and IHE events, and the creator of IMG_101: Introduction to Imaging Informatics, a widely used online course designed to prepare professionals for CIIP certification.
