About

Dr. James White is a Clinician-Scientist, Cardiologist, and Professor of Medicine at the University of Calgary, where he serves as the Director of Precision Medicine at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute. His work focuses on delivering personalized cardiovascular care by combining cardiac diagnostics with patient health data.

He is the Principal Investigator of the Cardiovascular Imaging Registry of Calgary (CIROC), a large prospective study tracking clinical outcomes for over 20,000 patients. Dr. White is internationally recognized for his research in cardiovascular imaging, specifically in cardiomyopathy diagnosis and risk prediction modeling.
